Establishing Petrol Station located on Zile Street, Alaca District, Çorum Province, Kaleli Group Of Companies has started petroleum, fuel oil, mineral oil business in 1968 in the name of Selahattin KALELİ. In the same year Selahattin KALELİ, a foreseeing intelligent person, started wholesale trade in petrol thinking that retail sale was  less profitable.

         The Group became a Lassa Tyre Dealer and started to sell tyres in 1977. It gained the customer’s and sector’ trust with its sales reaching record numbers.

         The group continued its commercial life in Çorum buying 50% of the TOTAL Fuel Oil Station located in Çorum in 1983.

         The group achieved to be among the counted firms in Turkey by the sale numbers obtained from the wholesale and retail trade in mineral oil which  started in Çorum in 1984.

        The group proved a success in the field of RENAULT auto sale, repair, maintenance in Merzifon District of Amasya Province in 1987.

        The group  continued its commercial life establishing  RENAULT auto  sale, repair, maintenance service and Türk Petrol Gülveren Fuel Oil Station in Ankara Gülveren in 1994.

         Expanding its volume of works , the Group established  KALELİ PETROLEUM and Industry &  Trade Co., INC.  as a second company for retail sale of fuel oil in 1995.

        The Group expanded its  retail sale of fuel oil establishing KALELİ PETROLEUM AND AUTOMOTIVE  TRADE CO., INC. as a third company in 1996.

       The Group built a  three star hotel on the property, located on Çankırı Street No 21 Ulus / Ankara and bought in 1998, getting a Tourism Investment Certificate in 12.10.2000. The hotel has  56 Rooms, 3 Suites, 113 Beds, a Restraurant for 58 persons, and  a Multi-purpose lounge for  50 persons and is still active.

       The Group has expanded the subject of the contract and  turned KALELİ PETROLEUM and Industry &  Trade Co., INC into  KALELİ LPG FILLING and PETROLEUM  PRODUCTS CO., INC.to start Lpg Sale since it was  not enough to  meet the demand and the Group bought 38% share  of TOTAL Fuel Oil Station in the same year. 

       A Fuel Oil  Main Distribution Centre of which General Directorate is in Ankara under the BEST OIL Brand was established in 2005. BEST OIL, the first distribution firm, was licensed by EMRA (Energy Market Regulatory Authority ) in 2004. It has reached the target of  over 70.000 tons of oil with its approximate 200 stations. It has a 5000 tons capacity oil depot in Kırıkkale and a 100 tons capacity oil depot in Çorum. It already has the necessary investments  for the  Depot Premises in İzmir  and a Research & Development is being conducted  on it. BEST OIL is a distribution company that can fill up the  tanks from all the refineries in Turkey.
Selahattin KALELİ transferred his real personality with whom he had carried on fuel oil sales for years  to Selahattin KALELİ Fuel Oil Co., INC.  and continued wholesale and retail trade for the end users.

      Fuel Oil Delivery to all companies of the Kaleli Group has been   made by ÖZKAL FREIGHT CO., LTD. and its 28 trucks in the  fleet  of which  6 are TIRs that  belong to Selahattin KALELİ Fuel Oil CO., INC.
